Through them, each team member receives 15% off of 1st time climbing packages and 10% off of select gear. The Competitive Team Members also receive sponsorship from the following companies: Evolv, Metolius, Friskn and Black Diamond. Competitive Team Members should inquire about sponsorship from head coach.

Urban Core Climbing Summer Camp Series Questions
How much climbing time will my child get on the walls?
We provide plenty of trained staff and belayers to ensure each child gets fair access to climbing. The engaged climber usually averages climbing 65% of the camp day. The Urban Core Climbing Program has access to all climbing surfaces in our host facility, Stone Summit Climbing & Fitness. We expose our climbers to the top rope walls, the boulder room, the hydraulic lines and the teaching wall (the dragon gets plenty of climbing too!)
What other activities do you provide during summer camp?
All of our camps are unique! The indoor program follows the camp format of a morning warm-up and stretch clinic and time to discuss climbing safety. We then separate into revolving groups-fundamentals group, climbing group, art group and exploration group. Every day we break for lunch and a 30 minute experiential team-building mystery! Our outdoor camps are uniquely designed to prepare climbers for their journey and exploration.
I am enrolling my child with their best friend, can they stay together?
We love when friends come together to camp! We love for our climbers to feel comfortable and safe during our camp session. We promote group unity and help children foster their independence. We will do our best to cater to the best interest of all children. Please allow us to observe the skill level and maturity of climbers and do what is best for the class structure.
What is your staff ratio?
Urban Core Climbing Program has an exceptional safety record for all of our programs. We maintain an above average staff to participant ratio. Our indoor camp ratio is 1:3. Our outdoor camp ratio is 1:3.
Is this a “drop in” camp?
The Urban Core Climbing Summer Camp Series is not a “drop in” camp program. We do not consider ourselves a baby-sitting service. We provide the total rock climbing experience in our camps for youth of all ages! To maintain the safety of all climbers, and to build cooperation, trust we believe in a properly sequence camp curriculum. Climbers leave our camp with confidence of their safety and climbing knowledge and climbing skills.
